Summary[]
Engine and the other Janitors stand by the hole that leads into the building. Realizing that it goes pretty deep underground, Engine mentions that their communicators don’t work down there so it's very typical of a bad guy to set up a trap somewhere like that. Engine praises one of the supporters that had escaped for finding a phone and contacting them otherwise they wouldn't have known anything was going on. The supporter is worried about whether Griss and the others are okay and Engine reassures them saying “don't worry, they're not that weak”. He tells the supporter to take some people and go help them.
Jabber gets up and sees the group of janitors looking at him with disdain which arouses him. Engine asks Rudo if this is the guy he was fighting because he seems a bit crazy. Riyou is relieved seeing Rudo look better than she thought and another of the janitors rebuts her saying that Rudo is hardly breathing. A third janitor cuts in enraged that something like this was done to his comrades.
As they begin squabbling back and forth, Engine talks to Jabber saying he has a lot of questions for him but it won't be easy to get away after messing with the Janitors. Jabber realizes he’s in a bad situation and says he has to get away or he will lose his freedom. He then continues saying that he has orders to bring back the skyperson. Even if he wants to run away he can't return until he completes his mission so he doesn't care if he can’t win or even dies. Jabber prepares to lunge at them right as someone grabs him from behind stopping him. Jabber recognizes the person as they say it's time to go back. He refuses and tells the person named Kutohni to leave him since he needs to take the skyperson with him. Kutohni says that his time is up and there are henchmen in the way. Engine wonders where she appeared from. Jabber gets heated and doesn't want to leave unfinished business. Kutohni whispers to him that the boss was smiling from ear to ear which Jabber seemed very happy to hear. He says to the Janitors that he has to go as Riyou notices a manhole on the wall behind him.
Before leaving, Jabber says he had lots of fun playing with Rudo even though he’s a skyperson and sends his regards since he’s probably unconscious from the poison. Rudo shouts from the ground telling him to wait because they’re not done yet. He continues saying that it's not over until he pays back for what he did to Griss many times over. Jabber looks at Rudo's hands and notices a design and says he got “that” series too. He says that it's a coincidence and that his boss would be happy to hear about it.
Kutohni jumps through the manhole in the wall and Jabber follows. Before he goes through, he tells Rudo that he’ll be back for him and to make sure he treasures “that” well. Once Jabber goes in, the manhole cover closes and it disappears from the wall. The janitors watch as it leaves and Rudo looks at his hand confused about what “series” meant.
The janitors are all outside the building after retrieving Zanka and Griss with the latter on a stretcher. Rudo runs over to Griss and apologizes for breaking his amulet. Griss says that it was very important to him and he is glad that it helped Rudo. He praises him saying well done.
