Gob (ゴブ, Gobu) is a character in Gachiakuta. He was a former Spellcaster, He died from contamination of the Ground.

Appearance[]

Gob wore a black cap backwards, a baggy grey shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his shoulders, and baggy shorts. He wore white gloves to keep his hands clean.

Personality[]

Gob was incredibly free willed, living the way he wanted to live, often in such as way that came off as stubborn, as no matter what people would tell him, he would continue to venture into the contaminated zones to draw his art. For the people of Canvas Town, Gob was a beacon of joy, attracting artists far and wide to join him in sharing art on the street. Gob loved to express himself no matter the walls in his way, being willing to work with the Cleaners and use his abilities for them. Just like Remlin, his successor, Gob was mischievous.

Synopsis[]

History[]

At some point in his life, Gob would inherit the generational marker Vital Instrument. Using this, he would begin to create charms using it's abilities. He created a charm around Canvas Town which prevented those with bad intentions from entering. During his life, he would openly work with the janitors to produce charms which protected them in the forbidden zone. Thoughout his life, Gob would use his jinki to do public displays of his art, attracting many people and even catching the eye of janitors. Gob would often venture out in the Ground to draw, taking off his mask in the process and exposing himself to contamination.

Plot[]

Gob's corpse was found, and taken to a morgue. The doctors discovered the cause to be contamination exposure. The mayor and the janitors would mourn his lose, as his jinki and legacy was passed onto the next jinki bearer[1].

Vital Instrument[]

Vital Instrument
Pen Icon Pen: A Pen, it’s a succession vital instrument that can be passed down from one user to the next.[2]
Charms: Pen’s main ability is creating charms by drawing, charms can have different effects such as creating fireworks,[3] or more technical uses such as drawing a symbol on someone’s body that reduces the damage of a fatal attack.[4], possibly the greatest feat of the vital instrument is creating a protective barrier over the entirety of canvas town to prevent anyone with bad intentions from entering.[5] Firework Charm

Relationships[]

Gnomulas Ridd[]

Gob appears to have had a close bond with the mayor, Gnomulas, as the mayor was pushed to tears when seeing his dead body. The mayor would often scold Gob for taking off his mask, which is what eventually got him killed.

Remlin Tysark[]

Remlin saw Gob as an older brother and was torn when he died. Gob was especially close to Remlin and saw great potetional in her, even picking her at the heir to the succession jinki, a sacred item in Canvas Town.

Cleaners[]

Gob would often work with the janitors and provided them with charms to protect them. Despite being busy, Gob made himself free for the janitors, implying he has high respect for them and their work.
