Spherites (天界人 Tenkai Jin) are humans who live on the Sphere. They are descendants of people who originally lived on the Ground but later left for the sky, they dump their trash down to the Ground which is the cause of the harsh conditions of the ground.
Overview[]
Generations ago, a large number of people from the surface left for the skies. For decades, this group, who became known as the Sky People, dumped both their trash and criminals onto the surface, rendering it unlivable. Years later, the people in heaven had forgotten a surface existed, and most assumed the Ground was an endless darkness. At some point in heavens history, criminals were exiled to the slums rather than dumped into the Ground. As the population grew, those who descended from the criminals in the slums began putting in as much effort to not commit crimes as to clear their family name, and those who didnt conform were dumped into the Ground, and their family outcasted even within the slums.[1]
The Sky People are split into two groups; The Tribe Folk & The Nobility. There is a high level of classism in the Sky People's Society, with the rich treating items like trash prematurely while the people of the slums use that trash for their daily lives.
The Sky People dump all of their trash into the Ground, and will even include criminals as trash; sending them to death.
History[]
Generations ago, the sky people began to dump their large amounts of trash onto the surface, now known as the s]]. This caused the surface to become polluted and began to spawn from the waste, and the sky people soon forgot of the surface, assuming the Ground was simply a huge dumping site.
At the start of heavens history, criminals were simply banished to the slums as opposed to the Ground. Generations later, the slums became filled with the descendants of said criminals who needed to remain in line and not commit crimes to clear the slums name, and they began to actively outcast members of the slums who committed crimes, such as Rudos parents. When the slums became too full to exile criminals anymore, the sky people began dropping people into the Ground.
